He does this to most world leaders and then gets all friendly in person. He was yukking it up with Obama like they were old pals at Carter's funeral, when the birther bullshit was what catapulted him into politics in the first place. There are only a few people for whom he reserves his true animosity, notably Hillary and Biden. He truly despises those two.
