Rodriguez gives no date for vote despite pledging elections at UN

This is completely in line with the previous PSUV position. It's not even a concession. They have always maintained that they have free and fair elections. She is the rightful legal successor to Maduro, and she is promising to uphold the existing democratic norms of her country. That she isn't taking an outwardly hostile tone towards the nation which enjoys total military superiority over them during a diplomatic mission at the UN may come across as a betrayal to certain ultra-leftists in the US, but it would seem that the Chavistas in Venezuela do not share the same view.

She has sold her nation out to the US, IMF, and World Bank. This effectively allows western vultures to steal labor and material wealth while demanding lower pay for workers and lower taxes under the guise of "foreign investment". Oh their glorius rebirth of being siphoned and exploited to appease Wall Street's appetite. China and BRICS are right there. She didn't have to fold to the enemy.

    Which one is it? Are you pro China but anti Venezuela because Venezuela is doing what China does? You realize the IMF opened a new center in Shanghai just a year ago right? Obviously these organizations are who they are but to clutch pearls at Venezuela for being forced to deal with them due to the way the global economy is structured when almost every other nation also deals with them is very hypocritical.

    be consistently against all the nations and organizations who participate or have the awareness to understand that in the reality of political organizing you often have to choose between a selection of mostly terrible options in an attempt to do the most right by your people. We can all lament the individual tactics and choices made and acknowledge that the situation is awful without blaming the victims forced by us imperialism to do these things.

    Edit: also, Venezuela literally tried to join brics and was blocked by brazil, so your false premises yet again crumble under the weight of material reality. cHiNa aNd BrIcS aRe RiGhT tHeRe shut the fuck up about things you have idea about

    I did not say Venezula has done the same things as China has done. Don't know where you got that.

    We all have been around enough to see what the US and IMF does. Maybe i am a bit presumptuous to expect her to buck the US and lean into the East for assistance after such a strong headed fighter like maduro-salute and expecting his VP to resist the empire as much.

    The BRICS Denial was a sabatoge play by US-Bolsonaro linked crony. I am surprised we didn't see more movement on this or appeals.

    Blaming the victims? I am blaming Rodriguez. Thus I addressed "She", not the people of Venzuela who have been through double hells we with the usurping of Maduro and the quakes. It is up to them to hold her accountable. All I can do from the outside is express my discontent of the situation and what I see about to go down knowing how the imperial core operates, their history, and their aims.

    The IMF is majority controlled by the United States. which has used it's veto majority power within the IMF to bully and deny Venezuela. China, while a member, does not have enough share to push the lever against the US here. international-community-1international-community-2 has 9 times the voting power than global south.

    China respects sovereignty. The US does not, and brags openly about it.

    If Rodriguez and her dynatsy head of National Assembly brother Jorge pull it off and get this to actually not vulture out Venezuela in some 5D chess moves I will happily sign my Rodriguez appology card.

    I am saying they are doing the same thing China has done, and pointing out the hypocrisy of criticizing delcy but not being a fervent maoist who hates Deng and everything China has done since.

    Why? What evidence do you have that she is unilaterally in control of what is going on? This is liberal great man theory. This is "Stalin killed millions and ate all the grain with a big spoon" analysis. Her entire party is consulting her and voting as a unified bloc. The communes they represent are unified with them. It makes no sense to blame one person for this, please tell me how I am wrong on that.

    Here's how I would express discontent, and many here have done it: wow there's a lot of terrible stuff going on, I hope Venezuelan people are going to be okay!

    Here's how other people are doing it: delcy is a rat fuck comprador who deserves the wall, chavismo is dead and Venezuela is a US colony that is entirely controlled by marco rubio

    Do you see how one of these is a normal and healthy emotional response and the other is using those emotions to extrapolate a fully formed concrete analysis?

    Don't forget maduros dynasty son who is also in unity with them and PSUV's other dynasty politicians and the millions of commune members in their dyna- oh wait somehow it's not a dynasty anymore it's just the political establishment that has been in power the whole time

    For what it's worth, I will also admit I was wrong if any real evidence emerges that delcy did a coup. My position has always been that the movement is in the masses, not the politicians, and if they turn against her then I will remain on their side as I am now
