It's not surprisng he doubled down. That's his only move.

I don't think he can legally have any press at all unless he gives equal access to all press. Even a state-run agency is not exempted.

I mean maybe he'll get special permission from SCOTUS, but it will come to that.

Also the name on the network implies he intends to keep the station privately, and that runs contrary to the notion the channel is state run.
