As an American, you'd be surprised at how often I hear from people here "I don't pay attention to politics".

    As an American, I really wouldn't be. 😭

    I think political apathy, while not helped by the shitty candidate selection and 'both sides'-ing of the media, is one of the biggest reasons we got to this point.
