Yeah. Watched a factory tour and assembly for sany equipment. Excavators and such. There's people involved. But the facilities are clean automated and far from sweat shop looking. They make damn good equipment. I used to think it's junk. Then I had to fix a couple. Impressive stuff from those guys.

I'm not sure. There was a guy on Lemmy saying essentially that the "wages are actually pretty good in auto manufacturing, but of course you have to do 60+ hours a week for them to be good, not be lazy and do 40" from his own experience in China.
