If the dems win the house and senate - nearly every fucking lib pundit of note will say "the Democrats did a great job of appealing to the dissatisfied Republicans." Translated to every day English of course it means "We are so happy that the Democrats lurched to the right. Yay!" And they can finally say that "Politicians like Mamdani have a certain local appeal but it's hard to envision such policies working in most areas of the US." If the dems win big - it'll be funny to try and guess which pundits are stupid enough to actually believe all of that.

We will want to scream at them that "Trump was the biggest booster to the dems. The dems running ham sandwiches could have won many of those races. Prices skyrocketed. During an election year - Trump started a war of an aggression. And his moronic trade wars continued. Plus the price of gas went through the roof because Trump started a war he can't win involving the main chokepoint for global energy. That's why dems did so well."

But the pundits will say "Nope. Moving to the right is how the Democrats can keep wining. Any other take is stupid."
