I think there is a drastic difference between what computer counted in the 90s-00s vs now. It was not user friendly, everything was advanced, troubleshooting was engineering, etc., you didn't just push a power button, launch a browser and go to youtube

    Eh, it wasn't that much different than now. Tbh in some ways it was a bit easier, just because there wasn't as much going on. Really everything windows 95 and after were relatively similar to what most people are using today.

    Even before YouTube there were plenty of forums available that would walk you through most any troubleshooting.

    Right, but we had forums, we constantly troubleshooted things, we did alot of reading, etc., nowadays average person spends most of that time consuming media, which was borderline a luxury back then.
