My opinions are not so frivolous as to be paraded around for social clout.

If there is a question with a simple and absolutely right answer, it's the one the user above made to you. Yet you managed to not answer it. Wow.

Yes, that's why it isn't a question at all but a way to pressure someone into saying what you want. It's a social dominance tactic employed by dark triad personality types.

Which are exactly the types the "righteous causes" attract, because it allows them to express their desire for social dominance by hitting people over the head with things that nobody sensible would disagree with in the first place.

"You're not a supporter of Genocide, are you?!" No you scintillating moron, nobody in their right mind is. And if they were, they wouldn't answer your question truthfully anyway.

Anyone who is victimized is a victim, the existence of greater victims do not discount the existence of lesser victims. Victimization is a binary, not graded on a scale.

Social causes are not excuses to vent your pent-up anger at life because you are unable to live skillfully.

Sure, these people must be into social causes because of some hokey amateur psychoanalysis, it can’t possibly be that people are simply not into political violence. I think you need to learn about Occam’s Razor, big dawg, because right now you’re making up conspiracy theories to explain some pretty simple situations.

People who are into psychological violence aren't against political violence, they simply don't have the power to commit the latter so they stick to the former.

The seed of violence is the same. The scale is only limited by your access to power.
