And sometimes the clarinet is not broken and you have to give up things you love doing for things that you are simply capable of

    I hate when people say "never give up".

    It's okay to give up. Just give up for the right reasons for you. It's okay to give up because it's too time consuming, or it's too expensive, or it's not fun enough, or it's too fun.

    It's your life and if you don't want to keep doing something, you don't have to.
