There's something really offputting about jamming these political officials into "children's" books, regardless of if it's Kash Patel or Hillary Clinton. These are not for children, any child who does end up reading this is a byproduct of the adult who actually wants to read this. The reductive take is that this is just where American reading comprehension is at. But. These things apparently sell enough for publishers to keep approving them... so maybe the reductive take isn't all that reductive????
