Mubarak had been dominating the county since the 1980s. The 2011 to 2013 period was a brief period of not-dictatorship

I'm an Egyptian, and 2011-13 was 110% a dictatorship. We've always been under one, just different people in different ways

Morsi never had a chance to a peaceful transfer of power before the military staged their coup.

Military didnt stage shit, the citizens fought almost day and night, dont speak down of all the lives of thoss young adults that died fighting for their freedom of walking the streets without being killed, having basic human rights, but saying oh the military launched an attack, yes they did, it was the right thing, doesnt mean a country being under military dictatorship is what we wanted either, just transfered from one shitty guy to another

Morsi won office in a popular election, lasted barely two years, and then was couped and imprisoned.

I wouldn't call that interm period a dictatorship, if for no other reason than it stood in stark contrast to the periods immediately before and after. There was no well-defined national leader. Bureaucrats were still shuffling around and rebuilding a power base, before settling on el-Sisi.

No no, sisi was also elected and wanted very much so by everyone, two things can be true at once. Yes, we did elect morsi, yes, we did elect sisi (first time atleast). No, both were and are fucking horrible in their own ways. One caused major major MAJOR unsafety, Egypt was a fucking warzone somtimes, the amount of citizens that died was insane due to islamic extremists, we're a muslim majority country yet get along perfectly with christians and have done so for so long, Morsi, well the man pulling the strings behind the scenes wasnt him.. morsi was just a facade of who the leader is, were a bunch of religious extremists that did what 95% of shitty people do, promise so much. Sisi has done the same, Egypt has always been under dictatorship and will remain so until people stop being so ignorant and desperate.

Yes? Whats your point? Both Morsi and Sisi were picked by the people, both times they were promised so much, both lied in their own ways.
