That's not too much. If anything I'd consider other countries don't report it, hard to believe the US is hit that much harder

    Unlikely, it remaina a reportable disease in the UK. We're about 1/6 the population of the US yet we're not getting 1/6 of the deaths. Most of Europe will also closely monitor covid deaths and the population of europe as a whole is over twice that of the USA.

    I suspect one reason more people are dying in the US is because more people.refused to get vaccinated during the pandemic? And if those people are disproportionatelt more elderly (because elderly people tend to be more conaervative) then they are also more vulnderable to dying from covid when they get it.

    like the US, the fear of covid makes businesses nervous, so they pressure the govts to stop reporting it, also they are afraid of making REMOTE work a thing again, because they lose out on revenue from people going to businesesses.
