u.s. christianity be like "imagine you're in a domestically abusive relationship with the almighty, that would be so hot" but somehow we're the deviants

    Like I want to believe god is real and he is horrified at what American Christianity has portrayed him as: a petty, hyper-violent magical warlord who creates entities just to supernaturally threaten them with eternal torture.
