Armed security guards patrolling grocery stores, bollards in front of building entrances because people drive through them, metal detectors at the entrance to buildings, laying on the floor in an ER thinking I was dying while they verified my health insurance, people thinking it's OK to voice racist things to me because I'm white, unidentifiable chemicals in the food I ate, the steady stream of propaganda, two right wing parties who have rigged the system so only right wingers can be elected, a ridiculous byzantine labyrinth of laws that make it so something is a crime but step 2 meters to the right and isn't, cultural imperialism saying that Americans and America is the best constantly, an institutionalized slavery system disguised as a prison system, gun laws so lax they might as well be in vending machines... god I could go on and on about all the reasons why we left.

That is the mindset that starts wars and then continues to blame everyone else for the war you started.

Let's see, what wars has the US started (or at least helped start but didn't call them wars because it's political cover); Iraq 1 & 2, Panama, Venezuela, Grenada, Vietnam, Yemen, Syria, Dominican Republic, Afghanistan (2000s and 80s), Korea, Nicaragua, Libya, Yugoslavia, Congo, Chile, Guatemala, Haiti, Angola, Iran (50s, 80s and of course now).

And always with "RAH RAH" names like "Operation Enduring Freedom", "Operating Uphold Democracy", "Operation Deliberate Force", "Operation Power Pack", "Operation Epic Fury"

The CIA, the US military and the US government has been interfering in other countries affairs for over 100 years. Some to create vassals, some to destabilize for economic gain, some seeming just because. Cuba was embargoed because of it's ties to the Soviet Union, and left in economic ruin. The Soviet Union fell 35 years ago so why is Cuba still embargoes, and actually still under threat? Well, for one reason, it's to keep the atrocity factory at the marine base open. A convenient place to commit war crimes where the legal system can't touch the perpetrators.
