Just want to get some perspective on what people think of the American reaction. I'm NOT asking if it will happen. I'm asking what do you think Americans will do, if anything if this happens. Do you think people will just not care or protest on the streets?

Edit: What would your reaction would be? (even if not American)

I used to make parts for the oil and gas industry. In one way, I know how serious this is.

Oil loading terminals and refineres do not work with shrapnel holes in them, they also don't work when theyve been set on fire. Oil refineries are chock full of bespoke parts, some of which may take multiple years to replace. How much has been destroyed so far?

We are going to have to come to grips with the idea that oil doesn't make sense anymore as a motor fuel. But that will be a lot smaller issue than the drop in fertilizer output.
