Landlords are required by law to maintain a safe indoor temperature (28C/82F or lower), and companies that contract with the city must implement heat safety plans to keep workers healthy and comfortable.

We must have that law in Europe. Now.

    Honestly, Germanys law regarding this is ridiculous. The requirement is just, that the building needs to meet the common standards of heat protection of the time that it was built. So houses from the 60's are allowed to get 40°C without the landlord being required to do anything to help you.
