TIL the US government sells genuine uncut currency sheets, and every note is legal tender (infosec.pub)

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing sells them through the official government website, priced above face value as collectibles. Every note can be cut out and spent. Handing the whole sheet to a cashier is also valid, though they will silently curse you.

I love these examples of $1, $2; almost everywhere else in the world uses coins for these because coins are way more fun

Hate coins. Always falling out of my pocket.

“So put it in the change pocket!”

Have you ever tried to get anything out of the change pocket while a line of people behind you waits to check out?

If not electronic, bills please. US needs to ditch all coins less than a quarter.

Wait, the tiny pocket within the regular pocket that some pants have is for change?

the "coin pocket" on jeans was actually for pocket watches back in the day. When jeans were called "waist overalls".

Uhh, yes. We have wallets. The things coins don’t fit in well and immediately fall out of.

Bills are better than coins, hands down.

I've never had any trouble with coins in any wallet I've used. As in: never had a coin fall out in decades of use
