I know right, but I feel like not many rich people can be trusted to publicly share their 'investments', so besides my Indiana Jones quote I was actually talking in favor of a bigger sense of mutuallity, not that people cannot own privately own works of art.

But our (assuming from username) country does invest in art quite frequently like with Victory Boogie Woogie and Marten & Oopjen. I think this is a good thing too. There shoudn't be an income barrier to enjoying fine works of art, as it contributes to health and wellbeing.

    I feel lucky to live here for a bunch of reasons, the government caring about art & culture is definitely part of that. It's a shame some of our political parties don't see value in that, calling it a hobby for leftists.
