No I will not buy a 4k smart TV, as I don't care and like my 1080p (and even old tube 480p tvs) the way it looks. I was just pointing out that you CAN run a given game in 1080p if you don't have enough juice and it won't look worse than if it was running on a 1080p monitor. 4K is in fact great. Pretending that it doesn't actually look better is just pure copium. It's no more real than the flat earth.
