To be fair using it in primary school or earlier is probably the most damaging thing you could do to yourself with it

Maybe he didn't ban high school because 1. Kids with smartphones will be accessing it anyway, and if it's "banned" teachers will go 'well this can't have been written by AI because AI is banned in high school, yup!"

And 2. It might better facilitate them to giving lessons on the harms of AI

    I imagine it's also easier if it's broken up a little bit.

    In other words, if they got pushback for including high school, and the entire thing got thrown out because of that, then the whole thing got thrown out and everyone suffers.

    They could pursue a similar ban for high schools now without jeopardizing the ban for younger kids.
