I understand the hyperreality everyone is willingly jumping into of an evil bank executive, but I feel like it’s a little fucked up. As others have noted, banking Vice Presidents are literally salespeople and account managers. These are the rank and file junior employees.

They probably barely make enough money to live in New York City. Tens of thousands of salespeople are not partying with JEE at the Bohemian Club discussing how they’re going to destroy the workers.

I’m not saying they don’t make good money, or that Western banking is not a predatory industry. I’m sure they do scummy shit to make their sales but that is business. China isn’t free from it either. If we’re going to shoot everyone in the above criteria then good luck rebuilding post-revolution society. China just barely did it in time to not get invaded by the rest of the world.
