But what if it becomes sentient and solves global warming and cures every disease and then we go with it to outer space? The only thing possible is to keep shoveling money at it no matter what! This doesn’t sound like shit dreamt up by a toddler!

    It can't even exist without completely fucking the internet and its own dataset, so they're buying up all the books they can to retrain the bullshit machines to seem less sloppy for a short while.

    It's the ultimate expression of Reaganomics: sacrificing the present and sabotaging the future so the richest fraction of society can grow even richer. Sure we'll all be fucked in a few years, but have you seen the stock market?!
