And why did we need so fewer of them only a year or two ago? Sure there will be varied uses but a huge amount must AI. AI is a tool, it’s not good or evil, and it’s here to stay. Most people understand that too, but at the same time they are observant and right to be asking questions about location, infrastructure, impact to power and water use, and public amenity. Which is why it is a topic of public debate.
