i don't know many amish but i feel like they're both capable of and allowed to pasteurise milk. seems a few grains unlikely literally all of them have a dairy cow

    ... and if you aren't transporting it over long distances... you don't need to pasteurize milk for immediate use.

    When using for your own consumption and not for resale, you don't need to completely milk out a lactating animal and figure out what to do with the milk. You take what you need and leave the rest for the nursing animals.
