It isn't written in a way that makes the nazis ridiculous. It's a song sung by nazi characters who are supposed to evoke the feelings nazis want to evoke. And so it is a musical with a scene of a bunch of proud nazis singing a nazi song celebrating revanchism and their glorious destiny standing unified and horrifying permalink fedilink source parent
