I mean what did you want Hasan to do at that terrible junction? The PSL and other orgs didn't have the time or organization to be ready to run a candidate against the mainstream candidate. Kamala is only a hair's breadth better than Trump, but backing a total loser candidate would not have helped. Even if Hassan fan went out and voted PSL in 2024, it would have still been a Trump victory. Plus, with a 50.1% beating a Kamala 30% would have given the fascist an even bigger ego over "How much of Mandate they have." I wouldn't be able stand seeing that comment everywhere!

step 1: threaten to withhold votes in exchange for the slam dunk policy demand of being against genocide

step 2: follow through on the threat when they want to support genocide more than they want to win an election

i'm not going to dignify the rest of that lib shit with a response. libs are going to have to break with the party at some point, it might as fucking well have been over genocide.

I mean isn't that what we basically did? I didn't vote for Kamala or Trump myself.

All I'm saying is that 2024 was a terrible time for any American with a tinge of actual leftism to participate in electoralism.

I don't think Hassan was 'Vote Blue no matter who" but was more "If you have to vote, please vote Kamala." While actively criticizing Kamala for just being Biden 2.0. I'm pretty sure mainstream Dems hate him today because they think him not being balls deep for Kamala is why she lost.

You don't have to be a Hassan fan, but don't be a hater just because his opinions on a dozen things are two degrees more to the right side of the left than you want.
