People who don’t leash their dogs annoy me so much.

I don’t mind dogs, but I’m still really intimidated by any animal charging towards me with unknown intent.

Yelling “oh don’t worry, it’s friendly” doesn’t change the fact that my personal space is being invaded. Or what if I had a dog too and mine wasn’t friendly?

A lot of people just shouldnt have dogs. Most people dont know how to train dogs. Most people who give advice on training dogs dont know how to train dogs cause they dont understand dogs and refuse to. You don't dominate them, you reward good behavior primarily. Ive never personally had a dog but I have sled trained some huskies (one was half wolf) that I lived with and have never had an issue with a dog as an adult. Dogs are people pleasers, they like having jobs and being helpful. Give em a helpful job and youre good. Or give em a job you tell them.is helpful, works either way. I was scared of dogs as a kid and now huskies and pit bulls are some of my favorite pals. I cant reallt put my finger on what it is when people just dont get how to interact with animals but it's obvious when you see and it does give me some ick. Like bending at the spine instead of the knees to pet a cat and wondering why they dont like you, its cause you didnt get near their eye level and put out your hand for consent first. Animals also like to be respected. Dogs dont show it well but even them

Ive had peoples dogs literally go for me and they act like its funny and cute. I have a strong fear that one day these people will be standing around laughing watching their dog rip my throat out. When I was a kid I couldn’t play in my own garden cos the neighbours dogs kept trying to break down our garden fence to kill me lol.

Again none of this is really a problem with dogs themselves but people and the fact they have no concept how complex these creatures can be
