20% is the standard now, sometimes people tip more or less

When I was a kid the standard tip was 15%, not sure when/why it changed

    The millennial and zoomer generations are more appreciative of service workers, often being them themselves and not thinking of them as "starter jobs" and "ingrates" like so many boomers do.
