The Treaty of Fort Jackson (also known as the Treaty with the Creeks) was signed on this day in 1814 at Fort Jackson in Alabama. The treaty was agreed upon in the aftermath of the defeat of Red Stick (Upper Creek) resistance by U.S. forces at the Battle of Horseshoe Bend.

The treaty was the "largest single Indian cession of southern American land", according to historian Michael Rogin - around 23 million acres in Alabama and Georgia. The U.S. forces won with the battle with the help of allied Cherokee and Lower Creek forces friendly to the American side.

The terms of various treaties with the Creek nation would go on to be consistently violated by Americans colonizing the south.

Hell even the ethnostate myth of Japan is largely based on lies and the denial of their own indigenous (non-yamato) groups, the ainu and the ryukyuan. Japan has been extremely successful, one could argue even more than the west, in the erasure of their own indigenous peoples, the ainu people only got legally recognized as their own distinct people in 2019 iirc and offered legal protection and the ryukyuan to this day are still denied a legal identity and are forced into being assimilated into the yamato majority. This all despite ryukyuan culture, language, religion and more being very distinct from the yamato majority and that their homelands (okinawa or the ryukyu islands) being very distinct from the "main" islands. Not to mention them being at the brunt of us aggression due to most us military bases in japan being on ryukyuan land and suffering high crime rates at the hands of us soldiers that usualy go unpunished, esp the women and children. This in turn has also made the ryukyuan distinct from other japanese in that they are very much more anti-us than the rest of the country. Ofc the average westoid or sexpat either doesnt know or ignore these facts and realities.

They also love to express shock and horror at supposed “Japanophobic racism” in China and frequently churn out articles wondering why they just can’t get over it because it happened over 80 years ago (imagine if you said this about the holocaust).

The supposed anti-Japanese racism in China is the fact that you will be arrested for flying the genocidal IJA flag, and that they won’t forgive Japan for committing genocide and hold hands and sing kumbaya. And also Chinese parents telling their kids to stop watching Anime.

“Why does China keep making so many movies about Japan being evil?”

Why did Japan commit genocide everywhere they set foot in east Asia and why do they refuse to admit it to this day? Shut the fuck up cracker

I will never forget that white academics doxxed a Chinese researcher, sent her death threats and hounded her to death because she called Japan’s actions during the war a “holocaust”, a term they made clear was reserved exclusively for worthy white victims. Implying that the genocide of any other people can stand on the same level as a genocide of white people is, apparently, antisemitic.
