MAGA can't admit they were wrong, ever, because admitting you are wrong is very hard even in simple cases. We all know that, we all feel that. Apologizing is hard, and a true life skill. But imagine if everyone around you is also MAGA, and all your best friends are MAGA, and your store clerk is MAGA, and your child's teacher is MAGA, and all your church members are MAGA. Then it becomes a matter of survival to stay MAGA, because imagine if you're the odd one out. You might as well come out as baptist in a Calvinist enclave, you know. It's a cult.
