The address multiple sources have reported they've chosen is 9219 Old Manor Rd, 78724. This is an awful location in the northeast Austin ETJ (not even in city limits) a block away from Highway 290 and close to nothing else. I couldn't fathom working for Paramount in Hollywood and being told you have to work outside Manor, TX now. As a long-time Austinite who loves this city, fuck all these right-wing billionaires who think moving to shitty locations in the far-east Austin Metro area is a solution to any of their problems.
I know you're trying to make a joke, but we don't really have more power outages than anywhere else. There are lengthy outages on record all over the country. The severity of that statewide outage in '21, though, lies squarely on the Republican leadership who have been appointing sycophants to the Public Utility Commission since 1994
