Blue heron watching for fishies. Look closely, it’s right foot is missing at what I would assume is its ankle. Its is most likely human caused via fishing line. It happens pretty often sadly.
They really are big birds. I’m a dainty 5’10” and they stand between belly button and chest height on me.
