The stereotype isn't that all UPS guys are gay, it just came from a time when there weren't a lot of legal protections in the US for gay employees and UPS had a good nondiscrimination policy for the time. So a lot of queer people ended up working for UPS for a while in, I want to say the 90s and 00s? Just basing this off personal memory. Same reason there's the stereotype of the gay flight attendant, Delta was another company that had a good nondiscrimination policy back in the day.
