Yeah was a weird idea anyway. Btw, this switch on the lamp: Is it like a real physical switch that flips or slides, or is it like a touch sensor or a little button like on a cell phone?

Hey man now I know what reversing a plug means. It's a physical switch that flips and goes click.

Ok, if you unplug then lamp, does the light go out immediately?

If it does, but it doesn't when you hit the switch, the switch is broken and arguably unsafe.

It it doesn't, it's the bulb that's causing the delay.
