I have no problem giving my money to an honest streaming service. There are none left. It's all greed. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [+] Racoonwithbenefits@lemmy.zip 3 points 4 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago) (1 child) [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] PhoenixDog@lemmy.world 1 point 4 weeks ago (1 child) Let's be honest though. Nobody "absolute must pay". I'm on rural Internet. I pay for 50mb down. That's all I get on satellite. I'm watching the Jays game right now. It buffered once in the 2nd inning for 2 seconds and has been flawless since. Why would I pay $25-40 a month for the same quality? permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] stevles@aussie.zone 1 point 4 weeks ago (1 child) You need to expand your mindset to include other people. It's not a problem for me personally, but it's a problem if you have children. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] PhoenixDog@lemmy.world 1 point 4 weeks ago That's quite a fair point. I've never had to hunt down other languages but I'm sure there are free services out there that do. permalink fedilink source parent
