Political brain rot is believing people dislike Trump solely because he's a Republican.

That's the fundamental problem with American politics. Too many people treat it like team sports: I have to defend my side no matter what.

No, you don't.

You don't owe a political party your loyalty. Parties are tools, not identities. If your own side does something wrong, or even something you consider objectively immoral, you should be willing to say so. Blind partisanship isn't a virtue; it's the abandonment of independent judgment.
