I am with you but...
Bad code that puts out wrong information to a doctor or endangers my data, threatens my safety without me having any control over. No amount of my own expertise will protect me. Simply because I don't control the situation. No amount of awareness campaigns will fix my issue.
But awareness campaigns have successfully communicated to most of us that googling your health issues will result in nothing of value, and usually a cancer diagnosis. I can choose to protect myself by not asking a llm. Like I protected myself by not asking google.
