My understanding is that the list is for having political opinions the guy who runs the project doesnt like (or just doing anything that displeases him I guess), moreso than whether you use lemmy or piefed

The project is for a front end, similar to photon, so just a different web interface that an instance maintainer can use as the ui for their lemmy or piefed instance

(Sorry if I'm explaining stuff you already know, I can't tell if I'm dumb and misunderstanding you, or if you misunderstood something about the situation, and finding the dropped thread in online communication is hard so I'm just trying to explain what I know in case it makes it more clear where the breakdown is. Apologies if it comes across as condescending, thats not what I'm going for :)
