The $60k is just the punitive fine, they also have to pay the cost of the cleanup.
That's what I'm pissed offf about.
The cost of the cleanup just -maybe- gets things back to how they should have been.
The fine should be a far greater disincentive.
What’s the likelihood of the cleanup happening before bankruptcy? I feel there is a phoenix coming on!
the scale of the work they definitely made more than this - and he's just the patsy caught out.
Every single customer needs to be found and fined, and there needs to be gaol time
that said, they need to get right up the arses of the privatised dump managers too. They're turning into their own mafias.
