Truly. When playing Civ I lose all sense of time, and even when in the mindset of 'I'm gonna save and quit' there's always one more quick thing to do first. I have to police myself hard because I will lose at least a week if I get into a campaign. I'm not even really a gamer. Games I enjoy I have a difficult time playing for more than a twenty minute spurt. But Civ... Civ is like fucking hypnotoad, it overrides all other feelings and desires. If you find it confusing and boring just go with that and you'll be much better off.

If you are saying you played Civ and never found yourself saying "just one more turn", you might just come out and admit you are a bot account.

There are a lot of neat mods that really amp it up.
