idk im black so im just gonna use my basic survival skills here. even in this community i had an encounter with someone defending argentina and someone who i think was an argentinian and i had to use that block button because i was uncomfortable which im not quick to do.
your last line says there ”if you meet an argentinian be extra nice to them” but if some of us meet an argentinian we would probably just be called a hard r, please be honest. my first encounter with argentinians was discourse about a semi offensive term to japanese latin americans and this person then went on to say that brazil is way too harsh with their anti racism laws and many latin americans have warned us about argentina.
”if i was argentinian i would not feel safe in europe” because you know your grandpa is still wanted or what? be real, nobody of argentinian descent would be oppressed in europe if they are white in appearance.
also: youre all so quick to say ”north americans are saying argentina is racist” but dont have the guts to say you mean n words are saying that. its just black americans pointing it out and warning each other, be honest. there is no large anti argentina scheme, its minorities warning each other against racism.
i would hate to continue this with passive aggressive anti-black people in the community so please just do your nazbol debut and say what you feel about minorities if thats the case. if not, then just stop making an issue where its not.
Sorry if what i said was expressing anti blackness it wasn't my goal and it doesn't represent what I stand for, I'm totally ignorant about a minority that is totally foreign to me tho i try to learn about the struggle, i know it can never be enough, but you refuse to engage with the points I made, I really wish I can express myself more clearly that doesn't read anti blackness for you, I didn't come to this space to fight or argue so again I'm sorry
I think you may possibly be referring to me in this comment, and if so, I do not see at all how I said anything to come across as offensive to black people, if somehow it did come off that way I apologize and assure you that was not the intention, but surely you can see how you are refusing to look at the matter from an objective view? No country's problems exist in a total vacuum, and we cannot ignore the entire global context to condemn it based on the actions of proportionately very few people. That sort of generalization is not only un-marxist, it's verging on racist in itself.
Again, this sort of statement shows you have some widely propogated and quite frankly incorrect perceptions of Argentina that are not at all fair to use as a metric to condemn an entire country. Argentina did not invite Nazis to go and live there and work in their government and military, but a lot of western countries explicitly did this, but do not suffer the same amount of offhanded stereotyping.
I understand your point fully. When talking about self preservation, I understand not wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt
