Wasn't the islamist fuckery a result of CIA fuckery attempting to quash a moderate socialist government?

    CIA funded islamists but did not create them. They gained broad popular support after Soviet occupation of Afghanistan when initial Afghani communist government imploded and USSR took control and installed their own puppet.
