Iv actually found Claude of all things can find actual sources buried so deep that even page 3 of Google wouldn't surface them.
With how absolutely fucked search engines have become it's one of the few uses I've found for AI that isn't dog shit
But dear fucking God getting them to actually give you the sources/links and not just try to summarize it or feed you back bullshit is a pita.
Damn things need to be lobotomized and turned into pure tools and stop with this nonsense bullshit of pretending to be human
They make fantastic search assistance tools if you have enough brain cells to run together to ignore the bullshit they spew out and corral them. Like hearding donkeys I swear.
I feel like AI is google search before search engine optimization got figured out.
You should try Kagi search because that’s what it is
It has an optional LLM mode and uses its own index.
