Huh? Never had this problem in the city at least. And you could try one of this bar end mirrors, they are great.

    I've got a bar end mirror (iirc mirrcycle like the other comment recommended) and I've got to tighten a hex bolt on it every few weeks to keep it from flopping around like you're describing because I'm flipping it in over the handlebars to carry my bike through doors a bunch. Maybe there's a bolt you can tighten to fix the issue?

    Bar end mirrors may also work better on drop bars. For a wider city bar the mirror is on a longer lever, which amplifies the texture of the road. I don’t feel like I need a mirror, but it’s mostly because I haven’t found them to be more useful than using my ears.
