Interesting how when 'barely men' revolted they managed to slaughter 'organized armies of real men' 10x their number.
If have gone with a more obvious joke format like “men? I barley knew them!”.
If this a troll, I'll bite.
Mr. Connery, the phrase is "barley men", not "barely men".

I misread the post too, but chalked it up to mocking conservatives for believing it would make them barely men.
