I got up this morning and thought "I need a coffee". I'm not interested in pour overs, I want that shit ready when I get up. Are people still doing drip coffee makers in 2026? Or are they all bullshit machines full of vendor lockin?

tastes like shit.

there's a guy who sells vacuum distilled cold brews that are supposedly less bitter but i like dark chocolate and dislike coffee flavor chocolate so that might not help.

(some) energy drinks taste good, there's some caffeinated water flavoring concentrates, or there's caffeinated teas.

    If caffeine stopped working on me, I don't think I'd drink any more hot coffee. I'll readily admit that all of my coffee snobbery only amounted to finding the least offensive way of getting that drug in me. I think I would drink more cold brew, though. That's how different it is and I highly suggest you give it a try.

    i've liked cold brew varieties of tea i don't like hot, but the coffee flavor itself disgusts me, i also dislike the smell. black blood of the earth is a bit expensive for me to try on a "probably won't like".
