Personally I think it's valuable to suss out the source of our moral beliefs. If you can't explain why you think it's morally wrong to have sex with a roadkill deer, then you either don't think it's morally wrong, or you're letting your disgust response dictate your moral beliefs. There's a huge difference between "I refuse to do this because I think it's gross," and "I think someone should be jailed for doing this because I think it's gross."
