I think the actual process is lost on a lot of people. Apparently there is no process to remove McConnell while he’s alive unless he resigns. Meaning if he’s on life support there’s nothing anyone can do. His seat just remains as is. I honestly think no one knows what’s going on with him. Apparently according to sources he’s been in a coma for 3 full weeks.
