I have had several LTRs but anytime I came close to marriage they got caught lying and thinks ended. I don't think I've ever dated anyone who was ever honest with me my entire life. Shit's wild. And yet I see friends and family with very honest relationships around me that have lasted for decades, don't really know anyone who got divorced, other than a couple of acquaintances who I didn't really like because they seemed like insecure jerks, and they were always bragging about their relationships which was also why I was put off by them. permalink fedilink source parent
