I would hope they're trying to keep him alive because he is a human being and that is how you treat other human beings, regardless of who they are or what their opinions are.
No, it would be cruel to keep someone technically alive on a ventilator past hope of their revival. And I say this as someone whose dad died after being removed from a ventilator during the COVID-19 pandemic. My mother refused to allow him to die on their wedding anniversary and so he was kept alive an extra day, which I still find selfish and cruel.
You benefit the Jeffrey Epstein Class when you bring this nonsense talk about saving absolutely every single human being in the world. I used to be in your position a few years ago, but I already learnt that killing evil is an OBLIGATION even the Christian Bible encourages everyone to have in mind.
The Jeffrey Epstein Class monopolized violence. They allow themselves to kill millions of people just like you with a fat smile on their faces. They successfully convinced you that killing "is an absolute wrong that should never be done," but they're wrong. Our bodies, our cells, they are constantly making DNA errors. Those cells with a damaged DNA have to kill themselves with Apoptosis, otherwise, the immune system does it, it goes and kills it. Why? Because if they allow it to continue, it'll divide uncontrollable, creating a tumor that only leeches off our body and slowly kills it in a very painful and slow way. The planet Earth, or Humanity, is no different to a human body. If Nazis won and became the influence of the world, Humanity would probably be such a racist, intolerant and disgusting race that eradicated certain cultures entirely, Jews being one of them, and I hate Zionists, but what about you?
You rather keep protecting those cancers that are killing millions of innocent people with their actions, decisions and even hands? You think it's worth for Humanity to waste so much time and innocent lives to "save" those irredeemable monsters? Why? Why do you want us to pay millions of innocent lives just to save an old asshole that has nothing creative, fun or worthwhile to share anymore? No art, no personality, nothing of real value to us. He only brought pain, suffering, injustice, and so much death and destruction.

Since you appear really interested in it, rather than going in depth regarding my opinion on several topics I'll just say that last elections in my country I voted the communist party.
I assume you're from the US, since you use the expression liberal to refer to right leaning ideologies. If that is the case, be advised that I consider the whole spectrum of US politics to be on the far right. Bernie Sanders is more or less as far right as Giorgia Meloni Is.

There's a difference with I hope Nazi Germany stops being Nazi and Hitler loses power and saying I want Hitler to die. The way in which Hitler loses power might as well be his death, but that is not the only way. In the same way, there are ways in which Hitler could have died but Nazi Germany persisted.

My grandmother died this year. She was 94. 3-4 years ago she was walking around (with help usually), enjoyed seeing her kids and grandkids etc, still had Alzheimer’s but she would always love seeing her family and doing things. Last year or so, not so much. Apparently it was very hard for her to visit anyone even in a bed (hospice) and she struggled staying awake her injuries like in her knees never stopped getting worse and the Alzheimer’s obviously… It was time for her to get some peace when she left. It’s ok.

By keeping them alive in old age and illness? There are things worse than death, and I have seen some of these things. If Mitch truly is in a one in a million type coma the only reasons he's being kept alive are wealth and status, not humanity.
Eutanasia should be a choice. Him being kept alive is what should happen to any person unless they deliberately stated they do not want to. It does not take wealth to be kept alive, or at least it should not. I guess in the US it is expensive to be kept alive, but I'm pretty sure even there they wouldn't let you die just because you don't have money.
In a coma you can't make such a choice. It's a minority that have advance directives and often the ones kept alive are those with no one that cares enough about them to act mercifully.
